My friend calls me on his phone and says he wants to hangout so I assume he's got my number. Then he gets on leave from the military and later says he lost my phone number so I give it to him over the Internet. I don't hear from him. Maybe I should've called him but I thought his number changed. But anyway one day I'm on MySpace and I find out he married his ex-fiance. I mean we kept in touch but he was overseas. What bothers me is he's always talking about I'm his boy, we'll never grow apart. We were best friends in high school. Are weddings that big of a deal? To be honest I'm not really surprised. He's 20, I'm 19; I don't think anything's real when you're young.

My feelings would be hurt but, you can not assume that he intentionally did not invite you to hurt you. I did not attend my best friends wedding 2 years ago, to make a long story short:....I was invited but, chose not to go. Why? The person she was marrying I knew in my heart she was marrying him for the wrong reasons. She is now in the process of getting a divorce and totally understands why I did not go. Maybe one day he will come clean with you and have a legit reason why you were not invited. I think you need to ask him why you were not invited and stop thinking so much about it.....

Don't be too upset. Guys don't always talk about this stuff, especially at your ages. He may have eloped, had a very small wedding with just family or it may have been a shot-gun wedding he didn't want to advertise...right now, you don't know. At some point you'll find out why he didn't ask you to the wedding and you can rest easy. Until then, I wouldn't worry. Friendship is unconditional...keep it that way.

Are you mad cause your secretly in love with him ??. Well my friend did the same thing back in 2004 she showed up to my house and said he got married. I wasn't invited and I was pissed off. Tell him your pissed off. If he wanted you at the wedding he would have told you and wanted you there.

Guess your not as close as you thought.. i found out the hard way too man. But don't beat yourself up..just forget him your better off.

People change over time.

He isn't the friend you thought he was.

Get new friends.
