Because it's part of the human condition. It's in our genes, and it's normal.

For the same reason there are so many blonde people or people with hazel eyes in the world. Although it may be environmentally produced, it seems to be a genetic issue.

Basically, there's probably a tiny chance of being homosexual that is determined before everyone is born. Most people are straight, but some people turn out gay/lesbian. It's just random.

It is a cyclic nature of mammals. When crowding and fights for food, water or turf become substantial all mammals start having more homosexual numbers. They have tested it in a couple of different species, and it may be an obvious conclusion in the human species. With more homosexuals the population will begin to decrease and then fewer wars over turf. But then we have never been in the situation where we could remedy the situation in 20 minutes.

Better question: Why are there so many people that hate gay/lesbian people in the world??? They're just like us. The only difference is who they choose to fall in love with.

I personally don't see what all the fuss is about. Do people get this pissed by threesomes? Isn't that basically the same thing? It inevitably involves at least two people of the same sex. Unless one is a hermaphrodite. Anyway, several of my friends are gay. It isn't harmful to anyone. It isn't like they go around screaming it in everyone's face. They just like people of the same sex. Why is it a big deal? Why do people hate them?

You say that like its a bad thing....I honestly do not think there really is a reason for it...other then gay/les people need someone to love also so maybe that could possibly be why I don't know...Honestly you should have worded that a little bit better because a lot of people will take that the wrong way unless you meant it that way which in that case then great way of wording it. Anyways back to the point...Even though it is still a accepted minority..it is still that a minority.

That's like saying, why are there so many people with big noses in the world. Some percentage of people just... ARE.

I also believe that it's not an either/or. It's a continuum.

Honestly, I do not know.

I am compassionate toward the LGBT community, however, I do not understand it.

Some say it's a choice, others say it's not.
All I EVER wish any of my LGBT friends is to be in healthy, happy relationships...
