Of course I am, it is in my opinion, the greatest country in the world (I'm a little biased) although, America is currently in a downward spiral with all the unemployment and fat people, and walmart taking over the world lol

Absolutely YES! I have been blessed by the good fortune to have been born in a country and in a time that permits the average citizen in America to live as well or better than the nobility of just a few hundred years ago. We in America live like kings and emperors. We are safer, more secure, eat better, live longer, are more comfortable, have a more orderly society, have greater personal freedoms and enjoy a better life than almost any other human born on the face of the earth.
I lucked out. The extent of my wealth, though just average is occasionally embarrassing when I read how others in this world live today. I realize that I am so lucky. I hope I can help others and make this world a little bit better place for all mankind.

yeah, we should all be glad that we are born here in America, those of us who were, and those others who have come here to live in a free country... without those emigrations, most of us wouldn't be born here at all! I sometimes wish that our American people were more united and supportive of each other when times are hard, and even when they aren't... I wish that we could find the good in others and not spend all our time and effort to beat someone else down .... I wish that the political and bureaucratic parts of the government were more focused on making our country better and not tearing it apart!
I am really glad to be in this country and support our leaders, yes, even our President... and I am grateful for those who are in the military who are sacrificing their time and safety...even their lives for the rest of us to maintain our freedoms... as well as the freedoms of others in the 3rd world countries...

Kind of. I'm not glad to be considered an American in this period of time, but America definitely has more freedoms than many other countries.

i'm glad i was born...not necessarily in america. i would rather have been born in sweden...but in comparison to a third-world country, i am extremely thankful for my citizenship at birth.

Yes, freedom is a wonderful thing. With other countries, you put down the leader, they kill you. Most of America would be dead right now if we didn't have freedom of speech, that's for sure. ; )
