22/7 = pi = 3.1416....

Multiplying the numerator (22) and denominator (7) by any same number will also give pi.

Consider a circle with the circumference of 2*pi*r and the diameter of the same circle 2*r, where r is the radius of the circle ( can be any positive real number).Then, if you divide (2*pi*r)/(2*r) you get pi.

Pi is an irrational number so you cannot write it as a fraction a/b ( by definition a rational number can be expressed as a fraction of two integers but irrational numbers cannot).

The only exact ratio is the circumfrunce of a circle divided by its diameter. Pi is irrational, so there are no two integer numbers whose ratio equals pi. I wanna say 22/7 is close, but its been a while since I've needed to approximate pi.

A good approximation may be had with 355/113 but as others have said no two whole numbers will give pi exactly.

By definition C =2piR => pi = C/2R

Could also be:

3927/1250.

But remember that Pi is an irrational number. 3927/1250 is only a aprox.

Maybe try this.
pi=n/x
3.1416....(approx value of pi)=n/x
let n=any real number
x=n/3.1416....
Wow!! all that math just addled my brain. Maybe I have to think of something normal now like BOYS!!! JUST KIDDING!!!
good luck on your math

π is not a rational number. It cannot be expressed as a simple fraction that does not have π in the fraction.
