no. he'll be a slot receiver, which is where he is best at.

Javon Walker and Brandon Marshall will be the starting receivers and Stokley (if he comes back healthy) will be in the slot. He is still a question mark for the beginning of the season but expects to make a contribution. Look for the Broncos to start going to three and four wide packages with Smith and Kircus also there.
Im just glad to see the Broncos starting to get some depth at the position

No. Don't forget there is Brandon Marshall who has developed great chemistry with Cutler. He should share the slot reciever postion with Rod Smith. And don't also forget the Broncos gave Stokley a cheap one year deal. They have little invested in Stokley and are hoping for good return on the investment. Shanahan loves to let his players compete so he'll give the starting job to the 2 best WRs in camp, regardless of their pay or name. So we can speculate all we want but we just need to see what shakes out of preseason. They also have a lot of respect for Rod Smith so they might "name" him the starter when in actuality its someone else who gets more plays. But at this point, no they did not sign Stokley to a starters contract or seem to have intention of starting him st this point.

I think he will start in the slot, and Brandon Marshall will develop into the number 2 when Smith moves on

it depends how rod smith is doing. rod is getting old so stokely will either be in the slot or be the 2nd WR opposite walker.

If he is healthy I think he'll still be a #3 WR.
