I got a job on Monday 12. Go-staff its a recruiting company, will i get in trouble if i stop going to work? what could happen besides the obvious?, they cant make me put my 2 weeks notice or can they?

Well, first a squadron of winged monkeys will carry you off to a really high castle.....

OK, maybe not. No one can force you to show up for work or stay there. No one can tell you that you must give two week's notice unless you have a contractual obligation to do so (not common in this country since we don't use employment contracts much in the U.S.)

The worst that can happen is they will give you a bad reference if you list them as a past employer on an application or resume.

Now, back to Kansas with you, and your little dog, too! :)
