his baby! and the dna tests are 1800 dollars, and the only way we can get a free one is if we sign up for food stamps, but i dont need those...IM 17 and and he is 19 and he works in the mines, but he wont pay for one and neither will i and the hospital doesnt do them when the baby is born, what do i do?

No offense, but this is what happens when kids have kids! If he insists on having a DNA test, the you must insist on him paying for it. From what I've read, babies look like their dads when they are born anyway, to help dad bond with the baby. Kind of nature's own "DNA" results for the untrusting dad.

the dna test is the only thing that for sure will help with your relationship and he may want to know and that can secure the childs position. just do it because saying no can make it seem like you have something to do when you may not and doing that will doubt your relationship and that may cause problems in the future for the child. do it to secure the future and BOTH pitch in. 900$ each should do the trick, but take the DNA test no matter how sure the both of you are, it will help in the long run =]

first of all if he is the one that wants the dna test he will be the one that will have to pay for it not you but even if you know you should alway give the man the test if they ask for it cause that way when they decide to walk away they can't say its cause they don't believe it was there child.

You can order them off the interent for about 150 - 200 dollars. If you go to http://www.gtldna.com/paternitytest.html they are only 99$. Reguradless if you want one and You know the truth. Get it done because he will throw it in your face everytime there is an argument. Don't give him that satisfaction.

If he takes you to court or it goes before a judge... one of the lawyers or the judge will then determine if a paternity test should be done and most likely they will determine then who will pay for the test. I think that is how it works.

take him to court for child support because of the fact if he says he doesn't know for sure he's the father they will tell him he has to pay for the paternity test and they will give him a certain amount of time to get it done and if he doesn't do it in that time frame he'll have to pay support anyways!

dont let him see the child or have anything to do with the child if he doent think its his he dont need to stick around.
1. take him to court for child support FROM DAY 1
2. the court will order a dna test
3. test will reveal results and you will get court mandated child support.

your boyfriend doesnt respect you, you said you both know it.
guys are sometimes like that they have sex, and when they get you pregnant they act like it was accident... my advice will be take the dna let him pay for it.
