Hi,
your best bet by far would be to check out:

They are not only top rated but also provide 100s of wholesale providers for every niche and category. A heaven for wholesale supplies and dropshippers as well.
Hope that helps!

Hi. Some companies deal with distibutors, while others have no problem selling to retailers directly. Websites will usually offer contact info, so this isn't an issue. When dealing with major brands, the things to consider are as follows: staying competitive price-wise usually entails buying in large quantity. Do you have storage space? A solid client base? Can you provide the product to the end user in a cheaper/more efficient manner than your competitors?
Buying isn't the tough part....Good luck!

One way would be to find trade shows that feature the products you want to sell. You will meet many distributors and wholesalers.
I use to go to trade shows twice a year in Las Vegas when I had a small retail-clothing store.
