I was fired from my job and after thumbing through my file i noticed the signature wasnt mine on my application, Credit and background check. The signature is clearly the HR Manger that hired me if you compare the handwriting. I am wondering if my lawyer would take the case

Maybe, but when you look at the harm, there seems to be none. You needed these things to get the job which you had. You could sue them but would most likely get nominal damages..usually a dollar.
