I have a Linksys Wireless G router model number is: WRT54G. I own a game for the PC called Halo. Problem: When I create a server on Halo it isn't letting anyone else in. Will someone help me with this problem?? I think it has something to do with ports or port forwarding but what I'm doing isn't working, please help. Even if u can paste a site url that will help me that would be great. Thanks :)

My computer is a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and it has Service Pack 2 or security pack 2 whatever it is lol not sure. If there is anything else u need to know email me and I'll email u the answer I just really need help with this I've tried three people one including an online technician and that person should be fired. Thanks :)

Simple solution...

Step 1) Go to your router setup and activate the DMZ host option...
Point it to the machine on the network that will host the game...

Step 2) Either turn off your firewall while hosting a game, (don't forget to turn it back on when done!) OR open the port(s) in the firewall that the game uses (Halo uses ports 2302 and 2303 by default)

DONE!
