My birth certificate is from Massachusetts. I'm not sure if there's different state laws regarding birth certificates or not.

First of all, you "spelt" spelled wrong. lol. But anyways, you sure can get it fixed! Im not sure how, lol. But you could look up on the internet where to go. hope I helped!

You will have to go to vital statistics in city hall. There they will be able to help you with your problem. Sometimes, they may have to contact the capital of your state you were born in. It takes time to straighten something like this out. My brother wants to go back to his father's name & this is what he had to do.

ask your mom to go and get it changed from the hospital you were born at if she cant do this id call your local health department and ask them what to do
