I don't know what you mean by hard since as mentioned by someone, all you have to do is just click log-off or log out. However, if you are talking about why it's so slow, it depends on several factors. First, your PC's speed. In relation to that, the number of programs that are open. You may want to check if your PC has hanged. Or maybe you need to click your mouse harder although it just takes one click to execute the log-off command.

Computers shouldn't be hard to log off. If your's is, then your computer has issues. I press a Log Off button on my keyboard and it shuts down my computer. Cannot get any simpler than that.
