Maybe because Liberals want to take more money away from people who work hard for a living to support the ones who could care less about doing anything with their lives. You know the same people who cry about not having a fair chance in life. The ones who act like people are born into money. You know the same ones who do not teach their children to have dreams and to be something someday. You know the ones who ignore birth control and drop out of High School. The ones who cry about not being giving a fair shake. Hear is an idea Go Earn it. Or at least quit your whining and be a bumb. I do not want to support you because you do not care.

Your point is excellent. Hard working people don't fear liberals, we loathe them. Personally I am sick of my money being stolen to support worthless, jobless leaches on society.

I am 57 years old, I have had a heart condition due to Rheumatic fever when I was in my 20's. I have worked as a cleaning woman for many years in order to support myself and my daughter after my husband abandoned us. I give you this background so that you can perhaps understand. Because I have a heart problem I could not get insurance at a reasonable cost (they wanted 900 a month) If I had an extra 900 a month - damn. Anyway, this past year my heart finally couldnt take it anymore and thank god we have something called Health Care District here in Palm Beach County Florida paid for with taxes(a government program) and I had the valve replacement (aorta) a metal one that I desperately needed. I had spent 56 years of my life without even taking so much as a food stamp or unemployment, I had supported myself with hard work and the sweat of my brow. And I do not qualify for social security as my employer, Palm Beach COunty School Board had given us a Fica replacement program and had not been paying into social security for my pay classification and was paying into a 40l. If it had not been for Health Care District I would be dead. There are many like me who have been screwed over by a big company and let down by the system. I guess you think we should just die? Sometimes life isn't as black and white as it might first appear. As I have gotten older I think I have had to accept that some programs are absolutely necessary for a society to be a civilized one. yet... the funny thing is... when you look at what they actually say... no facts to be found anywhere... just the same tired propaganda from the 60s...
I grew up in the south in a poor majority white, neighborhood... vast majority conservative... and I saw many complain about not having a fair shake, MANY, MANY, MANY DROP out of high school with kids... and many on welfare...
sounds like you live in the penthouse and trust what you hear...
maybe you should look at some statistics for red states... high school drop out rates... welfare rates....
the FACTS... seem to say that you're DEAD WRONG...

I can name a republican that stood up for an entire country of poor, suppressed people. The country: Iraq. The republican: George W Bush. And about the 60's propaganda being the basis of conservatism. What is the basis of liberalism? 70's hippies that got older(didn't grow up) and realized that they couldn't sit around all high on the drug of the day whining about everything including laws that protect the foundation of the greatest country in the world(by the way that's the USA for all the liberals reading this) and decided too try and destroy everything the Founding Fathers did too make this the greatest country in the world(Once again I am talking about the USA, libs).

because they're afraid that if liberals are in charge too much money will be spent on social programs and there won't be any left to slaughter tens of thousands of innocent civilians around the world, or to enrich the Bush/Cheney cronies at Haliburton and other companies that feed at the military/industrial trough.
