xbox 360 or ps3?

Question

Im into adventure games like final fantasy (ps2), oblivion (xbox 360 ) which system whould be better to buy?. i hate car games, shooting games and all that, just good adventure, and scary games like silent hill, medievil, crash, e.t.c

Anyway, I would go with a PS3. I would not buy it right now, I would wait for another couple months until the price drops, they are able to manufactor more, and are able to fix the bugs with previous modles.

The PS3 will have more Rpgs heading it's way, and much better. I cannot name a single current or upcoming RPG besides of Oblivion that is on the 360. Besides, you can purchase Oblivion, as well as the future Elder Scrolls titles, on the PS3 anyway, so that takes away that trump card.

The PS3 have many titles you can look foward to. Final Fantasy XIII and FF Versus XIII will be out sometime next year. The new Kingdom Hearts will be a PS3 exclusive as well. You can expect many of your favorite (or better) RPG series to be realsed as Playstaion exlusives, such as the Seiken Densetsu (Mana), Shining Force, Dragon Quest, SaGa, and most likely the Tales series. The only series I can think of for the 360 would be Fable (in which we can all remember all the hype and dissapointment that went through) and possibly another Knights of the Old Republic (although nothing has been confirmed).

As for scary games, both the new installments for the front runner of the scary games are coming out for the XBox 360 and the PS3. Those two would be Silent Hill 5 and Resident Evil 5. The 360 has Dead Rising though.

However, I wouldn't get a 360 for Dead Rising alone. There is much more to look foward on the PS3. Yeah, the launch games suck, but how many times has a system launched without loads of crappy games? Everyone is still trying to adapt to the new technology. Don't forget, various platformers and adventre games will most likely be plentiful on the PS3.

Final verdit; an overwhelming yes to the PS3. However, wait until the price drops and some killer games come out.

Hey how are you.... You got very many different answers and some say the 360 cuz of all the games im goin to get the ps3. Well i had a 360 but it broke but when i got my 360 there were no games for it and i thought about takin it back but i didnt and now that the 360 is older it should come out with more games and it did. But the 360 has experienced many problems and my friend got a ps3 and it works fine except it freezes but that is becuz he is tooo lazy to shut it down and he leaves it on after it cools down it works fine. since the ps3 is new it wont have many games but later on mabey during the summer or after is should have more and fun games. Trust ME.Get The ps3, IT can do many other stuff has stuff like blu ray and go and surf the internet and all that. So i plan on gettin a ps3 this summer and i were you i would do the same sony is a better company and treats there costumers with much more respect than microsoft.

I would suggest a 360. First off, I'm going to guess that you don't have an HD TV. If you do, you'll notice better graphics on the PS3, but otherwise, they're about the same. Second, more variety. If you beat a game on PS3, you have to wait for another good one to come out. Plus, there's the issue of the discs never being able to be buffed, so any scratches at all will render the disc inoperable, and you're out the money. Finally, look at the popularity--I work at Hollywood Video, and our Game Crazy store has fewer 360's in stock used than PS3, and fewer new as well. Everyone is willing to give the 360 a shot. Go for it.

The X-Box 360 has a lot more games than the PS3 right now. Playstation usually gets a lot of games like Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, etc. The X-box currently has Dead Rising, which I've heard is really good. Playstations always seem to have glitches and are generally more sensitive than X-Box or Nintendo.

Nintendo is definitely the toughest hardware out of the bunch. X-Box is 2nd toughest. X-Box has a good mixture of the more adult games (Halo) and the kid games. Playstation is more adult.

Anyway, I've heard the playstation is planning to make a cheaper model, X-Box too. Don't buy a system yet, because if you get PS3, there will be hardly any games to play. Check 1up.com for more information.

Okay if you like RPGs, go for the PS3. The Playstation 3 has way more RPGs than the 360. Final Fantasy and Enchanted Arms are coming out for the Playstation 3.

well i have both and honestly i have found only one game that i actually liked for the ps3 which is fall of man, all the other games sux, so i would have to say the xbox 360 is better as far as games but also keep in mind that the ps3 comes with the built in blu-ray player and with movies and a hdtv that is awsome.

get a wii.....its supposed to be much more fun....and its japanese so u'll hav tons of rpgs comin out........u hav zelda there....u don need anything els..honestly.....final fantasy might be comin to the wii cuz its new n stuff (dunno)....

i own an xbox 360 its great but its american..so u won have a lot of fantasy games n stuff...

n the ps3 is jus messing up all the good games (a tekken got an 8 in gamespot...thts sad)....so if u want good games there...u might want to wait for atleast a year
