If your are swabbed for Group B Strep would it detect if u had Chylmydia, also if suspected u do and are past?

yes , it can detect chylmydomonas also and it is possible if you are swabed for the possibility of streptococcus (Strep), the swab is gono bring out what ever micro flors is present in side the vagina, a Dr can only advice you after examination of the swab culture which will require minimum of 3 days to find out which micro flora is harboring your vagina
and forigen microflora can harm the baby, ofcoures its strenth of harming depends upon how sever the infection is..

i am pretty sure they check for that during the pap smear that every pregnant woman gets at the beginning of the pregnancy. at least that was what i was told by my doctor. it is not good if the mother has chlamydia and it's not detected because it could get into the baby's eyes during delivery it may cause the baby to be blind. so if someone thinks they may have it at any time during their pregnancy it is very important they talk to the doctor about it and get tested.

well if you suspect you have chlamydia you should tell your doctor ASAP especially if over your due date!!! If the baby is born through an infected birth canal it will get whatever disease it comes in contact with posing a risk to its health!!

I dont really understand what your asking. But the only way to find out if you have chylmydia, is to get the test for it. Im pretty sure no other test would show it. But if your pregnant, they have already tested you for it, and would have let you know if it was a positive test.
