i own a repair shop and just sold a crx those are good cars to own, real sporty too,i had to replace all the mounts in mine they was bad at least two of them was,so i just replaced all of them, you probably have a bad engine mount or transmission mount that's causing this to happen ,take it and have it checked,if its put up in the air you can see these real good from the bottom of the car,and you can also see them when its put in gear if someone is standing beside of it which ever way the engine jumps that mount will be bad,but you need to have this checked real soon this can be really hard on the cv joints in it,all the shifting around will cause extra wear on them, good luck i hope this helps.

So you have your foot on the brake and the engine is around 1000rpm and you shift: If the body bucks you could just need new dampers (shock absorbers). If the kick gets a head start from sloppy transmission gears and/or bad constant velocity joints the CVs are cheap and the trans is worse.

Try lowering the RPM. Ever change transmission fluid?

I had the same problem in the past and it turned out to be low transmission fluid. Check your fluid level.

sounds like a bad tranny mount or motor mount.
