I'm going on vacation in Brazil this July and have found out that July is one of the colder months 60-70 degrees farenheit. What should I wear? Also is it still warm enough to go to the beach?

Yes! Probably.
Well, brings clothes for summer: t-shirts, bermuda shorts, tenis, sandals, slippers, sunglass and bikini. But, does not forget to bring also, clothes more cold days, like a jeans pants and one or two sweater.

With its bright sandy beaches, soaring mountains and picturesque harbour, it's no wonder that Rio de Janeiro is known as the "cidade maravilhosa", or marvellous city and with hotelbye you are able to get the possibility and visit this excellent city. Rio de Janeiro is facing the South Atlantic coast and may be the second-largest city in Brazil. This city is lucky with one of the very wonderful organic adjustments for a area in the world. The spectacular landscape is just one of the reasons that guests decided Rio de Janeiro. Consider this, amiga: They sell womens' blouses on the streets in the Flamengo district (a very good place to stay), sarongs ($4) there & on the beaches, and all sorts of clothes in the outdoor market in Centro ... so don't overpack with U.S. duds (duds, indeed!). What better place to jazz up your summer wardrobe than Rio de Janeiro?

I've been there in a couple of Julys. Cool-Max short-sleeve shirts are terrifically comfortable in the heat. It didn't rain enough to warrant a rain jacket. Orange may be the unofficial color for Cariocas.

They go to the beach year-round. Shadows from the buildings fall across the Ipanema and Copacabana beaches at 2 o'clock in July.

here in brazil the weather is extremaly hot. Even in rio de janeiro, that is colder than bahia
You should get light clothes, bring a lot of bikinis and hats
And, you should bring a jacket, because there are times that, even with the sun, you can get a cold

The temperature in Rio during the winter can vary about 11°C from one day to the other. Rainy days are usually cold. Sunny days sometimes are hot, so you might go to the beach. So Bring clothes to both hot and cold days. (Cold day = 20°C)

Well you aren't used to the temperature so it might be hot for you. I went there once around the same time as you are going a couple of years ago to visit my family. I think you could probably go to the beach. It's your decision. My Aount had a pool in her back yard and me and my bro. swam in it evry day. My cousin saw us and jumped in and was so cold he ran inside as fast as he could. we might go back for christmas when it will be warm for them
