I started my period like normal. The first day is usually very light to nothing at all; however the days that followed I went through a lot of stress and anxiety and my period just kind of went away. Should I worry?

Nope, don't worry. This happens to me all the time. Stress absolutely can cause your period to skip, stop, start, anything. It's amazing how much it affects your body.

Stress is a very common cause of skipping a period or causing irregularities in menstruation. However another common cause in oddities to menstruation is pregnancy. Your best first step is to get a pregnancy test. That may answer your question if its positive.
There is so many different cause irregular bleeding, exercising to much, thyroid problems, fluctuations in hormones (ala birth control).
If you are worried about it a quick trip to you gyn doc will help reduce some of that stress and if it continues they can do appropriate tests to give you better answers as to the cause behind it if it is not stress.

Stress can cause a period to start and it can cause a period to stop. I would definitely (if I had been sexually active) take a preganacy test though just to be sure because if you're "doing it" this is always a possibility. GoodLuck -k-

yup.
it can change due to diet, excersise, stress, etc. don't really worry about it unless you have pain, or you start again before you are supposed to.
