I'm a guy and whenever that movie with Mandy Moore is on, I have to watch it. I don't remember the name but I know she dies in the end. It's sort of addicting. I can't seem to flip to another channel. Is it ok for a dude to "like" that sort of stuff?

It's called A Walk to Remember and no you aren't a "sissy" or "gay". A good movie is a good movie...I personally don't like the movie but that's your opinion of it, which you are entitled to. Anyone who rags on you secretly likes it so don't feel bad.

Sure. That is a good movie if it has Mandy Moore dying in the end. Do you like the Lifetime Movies, too? Those are usually really good.

Toughen up man! Soon you'll be watching 'fried green tomatoes' and 'how to knit an american quilt'. I mean if you're watching it for the chick thats ok...but if you've got the tissues out and tearing up at the end, flick the channel over to something more masculine. Wrestling or Rambo...even any Arnold Schwarzenegger movie (excpet 'Junior 'cause that movie is wrong...but thats a whole different question!) But get a grip...chicks like those types of movies and we try to avoid them. Unless of course we're on a date and trying to impress them!
It's just the way of the world...I didnt make the rules, I just live in them.

You're thinking of A Walk to Remember. It's perfectly fine to like that movie. I find it endearing for a guy to be in touch with his softer side. After all, a man, Nicolas Sparks, wrote the novel the movie is based on.

A Walk to Remember, great movie
It's a movie about a guy who discovers he is man enough to make his own decisions about what he wants to do with his life despite the objections of his social circle. He shows his strength of character by sticking to his beliefs in doing what is right, the truest definition of what a man is, in my opinion.
so, there's certainly nothing wrong with a dude liking that sort of stuff

definately a "walk to remember"--based on that john sparks novel-man can hat man right some addicting dramas..he also wrote "the notebook" and we know how addicting and sweet that movies was too--it's nice when you get into a movie i do that with a lot especially 3+ hours of titanic for me.
