How soon can hgt show up on blood test?

Blood tests are completely accurate. It's very normal for a woman to get a negative on a hpt, and then get a positive on a blood test.

A blood test is extremely accurate; whereas a home pregnancy test all depends on the concentration of the pregnancy hormone in your urine.

If you think you may be pregnant, but the HPT is still negative, my advice is to wait another week (as hard as it may be) and take another test then. Most of the time it is just your period readjusting and turning up late.

Either way, good luck.
