We bought our universal passes online and it stated that we needed to show IDs to get into the park (we have print outs of the tickets but we still have to show IDs according to the website---the print outs are specific with a name on each pass). Do the kids need IDs too? The kids are 9 & 12.

Honestly it would be safe to have them, but in my experience of going to numerous parks they all state you need ID on your tickets. I have gone to many parks including Universal and they never asked for an ID there. The only place they asked for an ID was at Busch Gardens, but that was once in maybe 10+ times. I think its for legal purposes mostly.

The children will not but it's because nowadays they do a fingerprinting type process when using tickets at the theme parks (so that tickets cannot be reused by others).
