What is more valuable: All the time and money in the world, or having a Forvrolet? If you are just trying to save money, insert used Ford engine in old Ford car. If you just want to spend lots of time and money on custom fabricated one-off parts, why not just put a Viper V-10 in there? Then you'll have something. Can you say entire ODBII engine management system... complete with computers, wiring harnesses, instrument cluster, transmission, wheel speed sensors and ABS system (if you had traction control in the donor car), not to mention a collage of various sensors from the fuel tank vapor pressure, all the way up to the coolant bottle fluid level.

To make a long story short "Yeah go for it man! Can I help?"

You can do anything you want with some basic know-how, a welder, a torch, some metal, the motor, transmission, drive shaft and patients and a butt load of tools. I am an engine swap specialist and enjoy v8 conversions.

it is possible but when dealing with engines so far apart in years you are dealing with different electrical systems and fuel injection as well as computers so if you intend to do it it would be wise to have a professional do it
