Yes they can and they do. We have a half domestic and half bobcat at the farm. I did not realize it at first until I took the kitten to the doctor because his back legs were paralized and the vet said that baby bobcats are born that way and the legs will work at 8-10 weeks old. Crazy, huh? The vet also told me never to touch it again because they are territorial. It was cute though.

Just like cows and buffalos a little different but that is where beefalos come from. google it if you don't believe me

Also, horses and donkeys, that's where mules come from.

They are the same species. It is the same as saying, "Can a chihuahua and a weenie dog mate?" Yes they can, and it has nothing to do with cromasomes.

doubt it. theres a possibility if their chromosome number is 1 or 2 off.
