PLEASE HELP! My game offen quits right in the middle of a game for no apperent reason!

This is a fairly new computer. I got it around christimas time brand new. When you install the game, it installs a little program called Easy Info, when you open it, it checks to see if your computer meets the requirements. And my does! Here are the requirements and what i've got
System memory: Needed: 512.0
I've got: 1023.4.
Processor Speed: Needed: 1700 Mhz
I've got: 2204.5 Mhz
Display Memory: Needed: 128.0
I've got: 256.0
And i've also got Windows XP media edition. So yeah, and this is really random. Most of the times i'll be able to play through 15 games and it won't do a thing, then other times, when I get into a game for the first time that day, it'll quit.

And I have played (around the very very first time when I started playing) at the high graphics but then problems arose and I lowered them and then it was fine but now this is happening.

well this is the downside of BF2. this happens to alot of people it happens to me every once in a while. i would say make sure you have you most up to date driver for your vid card.

is it like in the middle of a battle with lots of movements. Then it's either your computer memory or vga settings. lower your settings and increase your virtual memory. Go to small screen if possible during a battle scene, it helps too.

yea...its either your memory....or the cd itself.....my cd is really messed up so it keeps crashing sumtimes..(doesn install in other pcs too :-p ) .....
