I say they are pretty good. I've been trying to sing your lyrics. It will be a bit tricky to put to a tune due to the meter, but it is workable. It comes across as soft rock to me and would make a beautiful song. Keep it up! I'd do what others have suggested and add a chorus and another stanza or two.
