Spike strips.
Pound 6 inch nails all the way through a 2x4 and put it where they are gaining entry.
Make many of them and nail them where they will bother little paws.
Get industrial strength glue. Like for carpets. Put down some cardboard, a thin layer, and you have racoon sized fly paper. It probably won't kill them, but it will annoy them away.
The are usually attracted to food. Cover all food supplies. Pack it away in ice chests if you have to.
Birdfeeders are a food sourse most folks don't consider.
Also, feeding cats outside is a NO-NO.
Talk to your neighbors. People think they are cute and that there is no harm in feeding them, not realizing that they are making pests of themselves elsewhere.
Good luck

Several years back I had a similar problem with squirrels. Luckily I was renting. I found that the only way you can get rid of these critters is by trapping them, and they will keep coming back. After I was told that they could cause fires if they chewed through the wiring, my mind was made up. I moved my family out of there.

If they keep coming back it sounds like there may be a nest in the attic. We had that problem about a year ago and I ended up tearing out a wall to get them out. With your problem you might want to consider one of those pest control experts. Good luck.

ok what that other person said and those cat sprays to keep them off furniture and such may help also. anything bitter tasting wil deter the coons. Also making noise when you come out will scare them away. Unfortunately they will return for a long time. Make sure any food sources aren't accessible by the coons.

1. lay some rubber snakes around... raccoons hate snakes.
2. remove access to any food source: persimmon tree, garbage, dog food bins, garden
3. motion detector lights and water sprayer/sprinkler gizmo; they hate water too.
4. call you local animal control and ask for traps to put out. they will come haul off the little boogers for you.

You're the dumb blonde! My question was - how do you dye bleach? Bleach removes color, including dyes, so I'm wondering how any bleach could be dyed in the first place! Don't be such an ***.
P.S. Raccoons are cute so leave them alone.
