if someone insults me because i am gay i go for their mothers and if i have to use fists i use them...why do we have to be the "angels" that hide and cry...as barbara and donna said Enough is enough!

our society has always been the strong taking profit of the weak and we gays have been regarded as the weak ones, so i think it is tiem for us to show them how strong we can be

While we don't have to be the angels that cry and hide as you say, if every time someone makes a crack we take a swing at them it will not help anything.
While it may make us feel better momentarily think of how much the media would latch onto that and she how gays are evil and aggressive and attacking the innocent "normal" people.
I do not think that we should stand there and take things passively, what we should do is answer back. Challenge what they say, call them on their hateful language. Defeat them with words for if you can defeat them with logic and wit you are the better for it, and it puts us in a light of enlightenment not barbarism.

I have a coworker that is gay and he thinks he has the right to ***** at everyone. And every ones afraid to say anything because they don't want to offend the gay guy. I don't get why they can't see that he's just like everyone else and should follow the rules just the same. And it's also not just gay people that back down but lots of people like, fat people, ugly people, shy people, nerdy people. I think everyone should stand up for themselves.

I don't know what gays you are associating with, but if someone makes a crack at me, I take a swing at them..of course, I am a big guy, so I can. To anyone else, kick them in the balls....never take crap from others because you are gay. Those making the crack do NOT expect you to belt them...catch them off guard and knock the crap out of them..they will think twice before uttering another crack at someone. Good luck

I agree. I'd like to see some of these people face to face and have them tell me some of the things they say on here.. they wouldn't be standing for long. I've gotten over the "nice guy" gay thing. Anyone calls me a f*ggot to my face, I'll be punching theirs.

Will it change them to beat them. No. Are you suppose to protect yourself? Of course. But there is no need to be violent unless you are physically attacked first. Words can't hurt you. They are sounds, that is all. I don't cry if someone insults me, I try to explain to them how they are wrong. But I'm not going to fight them just because they have no respect for someone, and I tell them that.

Why not just accept that some people don't understand homosexuality and get on with life. It's their problem, not yours... unless you choose to make it so.

Maybe you're inability to accept others and share a kind word is why they treat you like they do.
Respect is earned, not forced from other.

I think you have freedom of choice, like everyone else.
