I am a single mother who is broke and I need help with my boys. I need to find out how to file for child support free on-line.

you can get child support one of two ways:
1) call your county court house and ask where to apply for child support. they will walk you through it. its free (or almost free) to file for it.
you cant do it online, you have to go file at the county court house.
todays child support is based upon BOTH parents incomes; look at the link below; click on your state and fill it in. that will give you an idea of what will be ordered.
if you already have an order, and its not being enforced, write your states Regional FEDERAL Child Support Office and states Attorney General. (links are below for them... just click on your state).
2) apply for welfare; they will do all the paperwork, and get a child support order faster then an attorney could. then they would go after the deadbeat father worse then the IRS for their money back (today, they OWE it to the welfare dept). then you start getting child support (the state takes a chunk for what he owes them for taking care of his children).
then your child support is in full force and effect. the state takes care of the case; you call your caseworker if there is a problem getting child support.
he cant hide today; GONE are the days of hiding til the children are 18, today, arrears ARE FOREVER.

There are a number of online sites, but they aren't free.
Your best bet is to go to the nearest child support office and file the paperwork in person. It's the least expensive. Make sure you have your paperwork in order.

As far as filing I am not sure but there should be a link to it if you go to your Department of Social services website in your county. Also this website,I love it, will calculate how much your entitled to with just a few entries....alllaw.com.....Good luck

Type in: Family services- (county name) and it should bring up gov. agencies for your area including child support. Note: make sure you write down each person you talk to and the date. It will save you alot of run-around.
