What do you think could have happened or might not have happened if Bush wasn't president?

As the question states. What do you think might happen or might not have happened if Bush never was President?

it depends on how you look at it xD
someone might have been better, or something terrible might happen like World War III

I think we wouldn't have lost as many of our soldiers.

I don't think it would be all that different... it depends on who's president instead of Bush. He's not so much the problem himself, for he's basically a puppet for the Republican party.

So, it really depends. IMO, I really don't think things would be too different with the other options for president... No matter who America's majority elected, we'd still be pretty much screwed.

I can guarantee you that the country would not have recovered from the recession; that the Enron and other white-collar criminals who did their dirty work in the 1990s would not have been jailed, and that the Democrats would not have been throwing temper tantrums in the sandbox all these years.

We'd be paying tributes to the terrorists, and Saddam would still be paying off the UN and leading members of France, Germany, and Russia.

Oh, and yes --- Wacky Qaddafi would still have WMDs.

And Saddam would have his by now, too.

Well, during 9/11, President Gore, would threaten the terrorist with letters, ooooo scary, with sayings such as, better stop Taliban, or we will ignore you! Or, Preisdent Kerry, would have written the letter. Or President McCain would have busted them up, but kept the nations money situation slightly better with a little less spending.

I can't tell you what might have happened, but I can tell you this------over 3000 of our sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, fathers and mothers that were used as cannon fodder for Bushs' criminal war in Iraq would still be alive.

911 would have still happened and Clinton would not have done anything (like when the USS Cole got bombed).

So - The planes would keep coming into buildings, no one would fly, the economy would fall apart as no one would be going to hotels, other cities, conventions, las vegas, jobs would be lost. Immense fear and poor economy would result as well as continued terrorism in our own streets.

People would be wanting to impeach Gore for ignoring the situation and playing with global warming and ecology. He would not allow US to drill our own oil so he could save a few seals and we would nose dive into poverty and internal civil war.

over three thousand soldiers would still be alive! foreign nations would not be bitterly despising our country! billions of dollars could have been redirected to solving the problems that exist here at home! (homelessness, illiteracy, poverty, poor health care coverage, etc.)

We wouldn't be at war, we would be out of dept, other countries would like us, global warming would be solved, ozone layer would of mysteriously gone back to normal, glaciers wouldn't be melting, fish wouldn't be dying, no more poor people, hungry people, homeless people. and the seahawks would have won the superbowl at least 4 times by now.

If Gore or Kerry were President we would have as many terrorist attacks as Israel. They would have pacified our enemies and talked the issues to death. They would have us viewed worldwide as politically correct, polite and weak as well as stupid. They would have been gutless wonders.
