multiply 110V by 3 amps:

110 * 3 = 330J/s

Each hour is developed:

1 Hour = 3600 segs:

So

330 * 3600 = 1,188,000 Joules or 1.188 MJ.

Remember that 1 Volt = Joule/C and 1 amp = C/s

Also remember that Power = VC, where V is voltage and C is current

Power = Volts * Amps

Energy = Power x time

E = V*I*3600 Joules
