In your opinion which is better? I want to go to somewhere for my bday in July and the 120 degrees in Vegas is starting to turn me off, I'm a summer baby but I hate hot weather. I've heard all the great things about Vegas but how is Atlantic City? Is it full of old fogies or will 30-somethings have a good time there too?

Heat is heat to me. I live in Chicago so I know about humidity...hate it! I visit AZ alot so I know about the dry heat...hate it! As long as I'm in a hotel w/plenty to do inside then I'm cool...I don't plan on walking the strip much

Can't give you an opinion on Vegas...I'm going in June. I do know Atlantic City, though, and it's not all old. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and nightlife for the thirty somethings. Trop has the Quarter, Caesars has the Pier, and Borgota has some hot clubs. If you like the beach, July is a great time for AC. Have fun whatever you do!

Ive experienced more of an older crowd Atlantic city, there is a lot to do there, like gambling and eating, but there is nothing like vegas. Vegas may get super hot outside, but there is no humidity, so it really doesn't feel like 120, and you won't sweat as much, and I think the weather is great at night. I went to vegas last june and the weather in the daytime was about 110, but at night it was breezy at around 70 or 80...it was perfect!! I think you would have a better time in vegas!!

do vegas. I am a july baby too,(the 9th) and i hate the heat. But everything in vegas is inside for the most part and its a very dry heat (unlike new orleans or houston) so its not as uncomfortable. AC is dirty and there just isnt as much to do.

Average stay in AC in 1.2 nites--- not like the uninformed opinion above.

AC has entertainment and there are plenty of younger people- i was there last summer.

here is a good site to find out about AC entertainment and hotel reviews.

Stay away from Atlantic City. Once you leave the boardwalk you're nowhere. Nothing to see nothing to do unless you like the beach.
