I think it's innocuous and perfectly fine to have the Easter bunny and egg hunting for small children. I have gone to church every Sunday since childhood, and am an active volunteer in everything from the choir to teaching youth to speaking about religious topics in Church meetings. Celebrating the traditional springtime activities of Easter did not harm me or my level of spirituality.
You can take them to church on Sunday, teach them all through the week.

Why not it just for the kids! Even though it really isn't a part of Easter! You can do what ever you want its not against the law to go Easter egg hunting! But you don't have to have a Easter egg hunt ether!
I think it was stooped to band the Easter bunny at malls!
Here is why we have the bunny and chicks for Easter: It because Easter is new life and so is spring! God ascended in to Heaven! Heaven is new life!

Not all Christians include the Easter bunny as part of their Easter celebrations, just as not all Christians include Christmas trees in their celebration of Christmas.
It's up to you to choose which symbols represent your belief and remembrance of your holidays. If something doesn't work for you, don't use it.

Of course. It's fun. The resurrection of Jesus is a symbol of renewal and everlasting life, isn't it? So are eggs and bunnies. Same purpose, different symbols.
Pagan holdiays, 8 in all throughout the year, celebrate different phases of the life cycle. I think this is psychologically healthy and it sure is a lot of fun! Easter is about life in full bloom. Why is that so bad?

I think you've got it a little bit backwards. I think we should hunt the Easter Bunny. :-) Check out my tribute to the Easter Bunny at the first link below.

OK I do not want to hurt your feelings, but if your going to teach the children about the Resurrection why include the name of a pagen fertility goddess? Easter is the name of one such goddess- please look into it further- we gave up all the traditional holidays(and we are not witnesses either). the Holy spirit is opening a lot of eyes lately- let Him show you the truth-- He was the Passover Lamb- He was our final sacrifice- He and the apostles kept the Passover and not easter-- Please read your Bible- with love---

My family stopped doing the bunny and egg thing. You are right, it is of pagen origin.

Keep in mind that other customs are of Pagan origin, too. Would you deprive your children of an XMas tree, lights & presents?!
