I really want a surskit and it says that you can get them by a newsflash. How do you make newsflashes occur???

I am pretty sure that you can only get them from ruby or sapphire, i have sapphire so i do have surskit, (well now hes a Masquerain) but if you dont have ruby or sapphire then you are out of luck because i never heard about a newsfalsh or how to make thm appear because they are random. (newsflashes also occur when you beat the elite 4 and go home and find out how to get latias or latios)

Just go up to any television and press A. You can't make the newsflashes happen, you basically need luck, but when it is going on it will mention Surskit. Then, go where it tells you and catch it.

Newsflashes are RANDOM. Anyway, those in emerald are for Skitty, I heard, and the only way to get surskit is in ruby/sapphire.

I got my in PokemonXD Gale of Darkness for the game cube. Because I got tried of looking for it in Emerald.

well, you shall always check the tv,it may occurs anytime as you do not know how long is a day in the game.

IIRC, just look for a TV in a house to be flashing and interact (press A) with it.
