Whenever I trust a friend, they always bring me down by spreading rumors or lying to me. I have known some of my friends for 7 or more years and I thought I can trust them but the truth is I can't.

The only people I can trust are my family. Do I have a problem or is this normal?

People can change in 7 years. You only hold on to them as friends because of the longevity. If you know you're not being treated right, then you have the right leave them. These problems are normal to occur, but you should tell yourself that you have choices. Out with the old and in the the new.

Sounds like you need to think about what type of individuals you're attracting. Those "friends" are not your friends. Discontinue hanging with them if you already havent done so. I guess the biggest thing is learning to trust again. Let everyone from here on out stand on their own merit. In other words, dont assume they will be like the other so-called friends. Everyone isnt a two-faced backstabber!

You don't say how old you are. In younger years family will be your trusted friends but as time goes on you make really good decent friends that last a life time. don't worry so much there is a saying if you can count the number of friends you have on one hand your doing really well.

Belevie it or not...Alot of teenage girls go through this.
Girls are so bitchy and so judgemental. and they will do anything to be cool.
Also as we grow alot of us change in so many differnt ways...we change our mind so many different times and change our friends. its the way humans work for some reason. but there are always poeple out there to be your friend and soona s your learn to trust them again they mite change. but also some people are jsut lucky some people have friends forever. and you could to.. some itmes its jsut about findig the right ones.

good luck xoxo

As they say in the gangster movies "Blood is the best security"

Trust blood relatives only, and even then, look over your shoulder.

Yep.

Well this is not really normal unless you are doing something for them to talk about that you shouldn't be doing. I would love to be your friend....
