Well....lets see; since i am good at makeup ingredients, and wahts good, whats good to apply...

For Best Coverage...use Loreal True Match. I believe this covers so well, and makes it look naturally blended. No Oils, No Pore Clogging Fillers, or any Fragrances that could give you bad blotchy spots. And lots of shades to pick from.

Even thought Maybelline isnt expensive, it works the same.
For more cakey coverage...i would use Dream Matte, but if you have bad irritations to foundation, Pure Makeup works well.

Revlon has some makeups like Clinique...Oil Free.
So Does Neutrogena.

Whatever your skin is, make sure by these..Oil, Oil Combination, Normal, make sure you see if there is Oil Clogging Filters. Or if you break out easily, Neutrogena is waht i'd go for easily.

If you have young skin, try not to mess with all the chemicals going on in the cosmetic world. Mineral foundations and powders will work great for you. I like Physicians Formula Mineral powder $10. Believe me I've tried many foundations, powders, lipsticks, ........ Mineral cosmetics work very well when you don't have either the time or the experience to go hunting for beneficial cosmetics and work for every skin type, which, when you're young, you are still discovering.

The Arbonne mineral powder is GREAT! It is smooth and doesn't feel like you are wearing make up. And considering how long it lasts, the price isn't that bad. I just had to replaced mine and I had it for 10 months. Plus if you can get it wholesale, you save even more. So in the long run, you are getting a quality product for a better price and it is worth it =)

Before I switched to Bare Escentuals, I used Neutrogena's Healthy Skin foundation, which I really liked. I like the Bare Escentuals because of the coverage, but if I ever use liquid foundation, it's Neutrogena.

I use BareMinerals and I have to say it's the best thing I've ever bought. I was getting frustrated with foundations/powders that made me look "ashy" or dry. But since you don't want to spend the money, I say try Almay or even Neutrogena...you can pick them up at your local drug store.

Its not the brand so much as the formula - is the right foundation for your skin type and your style.
I prefer the Artistry Self-Defining Sheer foundation (available at quixtar.com or lmentze.qbeautyzone.com).

Two that I really like are Neutrogena Visibly Even (it really works), and L'Oreal True Match.

Clinique Superfit is what I prefer... It is well worth the cost, but someone is trying to turn me on to Arbonne...
