it may be cheaper but the heat is awful. I don't care if it cost more to live in los angalas.I just don't like it hear.saying that people are nicer is just wrong.

I'm from Chicago and thanks to my company, I now reside in Dallas. I say this to anyone that complains about the heat...
"Heat is uncomfortable. You might break a sweat going from your airconditioned house to your airconditioned car to your airconditioned office, however, cold hurts. It stings your face and it numbs your toes."
Dallas does lack the culture & public transportation that a big city has and the people are nicer is a myth. Dallas people can be pretty pretentious without a real reason to be that way.
You pick and choose your positives and negatives in any city. It's all how you look at it. Los AngELEs can be pretty cool, however, you could find your negatives (ghetto elements, overcrowding, traffic) there as well.

Football fans in New York, Philly, and Washington think Dallas sucks, and probably some basketball fans in San Antonio. Anyone else who thinks Dallas sucks has never gotten north of I-20! I Dallas is an awesome city!

Dallas sucks, it is full of people who are brainwashed by Texas Pride. Yes it is cheap to live here, if it was not nobody would live here.
