I used to but I haven't been since the early 80's. I was only OK at it but two of my friends were really good and could skate backwards. We used to go to lock-ins at Moultens Roller City. It was fun. Colored lights, disco balls and "won't you take me to FUNKYTOWN!".

when i was 12 i could, i would go to the roller rink every friday night. that was 15 years ago i dont think i could stand up in skates now lol.

Yes. I learned when I was four-years-old on the old fashioned skates that had a key to tighten them. I still have the key! I learned by holding on to the porch banister, and slowly letting go. One day, my mom came outside, and I was skating on my own!
