Ok, I have a couple dvd's that I would like to copy to my harddrive so that if I ever lose the disc, I still have the copy on my pc...
I only have InterVideo WinDVD, and I have Windows Media Player 11...
Is there any way I can copy it all onto my drive? I would prefer not to download Nero, or any other software, but if necessary, I might...
How do you do it?
I cant use Windows Media Player to rip it, yet it did let me copy files, yet it took forever... I tried to open it directly from the harddrive without playing it, and copied a few files from the disc onto my harddrive, then I tried playing them, and Windows Media Player had an X next to it, so it will not play..
Im looking for something that lets me copy a DVD to harddrive, and later, I can go in and click on whatever I need to and play it with Windows Media Player...
Please Help... I also looked for Nero 6... it is almost impossible to find a copy, and I had the same trouble with DVD shrink... so any help is appreciated.

Also, I downloaded DVD Decrypter, but now my next problem is, do I have to select all the files in the folder in order to play them, or do I have to open certain ones?

If the DVD is a copyrighted DVD you need to get passed the protection. Try downloading DVD Decrypter or DVD Fab, they both work great, and DVD Fab can even copy ARccOSS and RipGuard protected DVD's.

DVD Shrink is much easier to use. It works with 90% of the DVDs out there. You can download the program at this location.

After ripping it to your hard drive, then you would use a program like Nero or Easy Creator to burn the files in a DVD Video format. You must have a DVD burner. If you have a DVD-ROM drive, you cannot copy.

BTW, you cannot just download Nero. You need to buy Nero, unless you find the program on an illegal warez web site.
