I have never had this before but early last week I had some extremely light spotting (just like a drop here and there, barely needed a pantyliner) of dark red-brown with a little bit of white. I am cramping now. My last period started on Feb. 24th and my cycles tend to be irregular. I want to be pregnant so bad-we've been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years. I'm afraid that I want it so bad, but that I'm not pregnant. I've thought I was before and had lots of symptoms but tested and it was negative. My husband doesn't allow me to test this time (because of the depression I go through due to negatives) until I am 100% sure I am pregnant. He said until I start showing.

THAT CRAZY YOU NEED TO TEST NO MATTER WHAT. YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR IF YOU ARE. IT COULD BE INPLANTATION BLEEDING. I HAD THIS WITH MY DAUGHTER.

Also, because of the date, you could be approaching another period.
And yes...it could be implantation bleeding.
Working with your doctor would be best. Charting and trying different methods like temp. etc... Your husband is trying to keep you from getting down, but it seems like your nerves are not doing the best either. Talk with your doctor and then go from there, either way you are going to be feeling anxious, so you may as well know what is going on. Any symptoms you should check with the doctor. If you have no symtoms, maybe try not testing on your own because you may get a wrong reading and it will not help matters.
Sometimes the symptoms of pregnancy are quite the same of a period...
I thought I was pregnant, had symptoms, and when I settled down and accepted it, my cycle started. (I was on medication and was scared of being pregnant at the time)
Go with the flow, have your husband help you with staying calm and not jumping to testing, and check with the doctor if you have a symptom that needs attention.
I hope it works out for you...sometimes when you let it go...you relax...and before you know it...here comes baby!!
Good Luck

See a doctor. If you are pregnant then you don't have to worry about missing the crutial times during the start because you didn't check and if you aren't a doctor can explain why it happened and help you try to get pregnant if you haven't seen a specialist already. I hope you get pregnant soon! Babies are a joy and I want some of my own some day. Just relax and don't stress out so much, it might even out your periods and make it easier to try and get pregnant!

You need to take a test for your own sanity! Please don't listen to your hubby on this one.
If you wait until you start showing that could be your 5th month or so! You need to take prenatal vitamins and see a doctor every month when you are pregant!
I know it is hard to try and try every month just to be let down by that damn negitive test. I know i tried for a year and a half. It was the hardest thing in the world!
Have you tried the ovulation tests? They can be helpful...

it could be implantation bleeding, especially if your period is regular. if you are pregnant you would probably be starting to have other symptoms. hold off on the test as hubby recommends and wait a little longer. stay positive!

I am a guy and I am telling you to tell your husband to go jump off a bridge! He won't "ALLOW" you to take a test? Are you Lucy and is he Ricky? It is important to know and I know the depression after a negative test because my wife and have been trying for our second child for a long time. Take the test to know for sure. Athough I know this won't really help becuase it doesn't for us, try to expect a negative result.
