the type of shows where you have popcorn ready, your cellphone is turned off, your friends know not to call you while it's on, if you miss an episode you spend every waking moment trying to find someone who taped it. makes you laugh and cry at the same time, makes you feel like you know every line before they say it but you're wrong every time kind of shows. i tried 24, heroes, supernatural, prison break and they just aren't doing it for me

yeah, i know where you're coming from. the answers i agree with so far are family guy, house, dexter, how i met your mother, CSI, and i kinda agree with smallville. some not mentioned are Weeds, give Prison Break another try, 24 has gotten much better since season 1 and 2, finally, House is a definate!

I love Smallville. To death. I started watching it a few years back and I haven't stopped. What you describe is exactly what I go through whenever I watch it. Cellio off, munchies at hand, and God forbid if I miss an episode. I have cried, laughed, and even jumped for joy. The writers are geniuses, and the actors are superb.
To top it all off, its about Superman as a 19-ish year old guy. All the female troubles, problems at home, plus some other supersized issues. I actually missed 2 episodes in a row this season, so I stopped watching it. Now I am gonna buy it when the sixth season comes out, for the sole reason that I wanna watch them all in order. Its that good. Check it out!

abode. gray's Anatomy is so packed with it. that is extra like a cleansing soap opera and that is purely too fictional. house is extra grown up and does not revolve entirely around intercourse and hook ups. It balances relationships and medicines. abode has a fashion of dragging issues out that keeps you needing for extra.

If you get Showtime, check out Dexter when they re-run season 1. I also am hooked on Bones, House, Boston Legal, and Entourage (HBO).
