Kobe Bryant. HATE HIM OR LOVE HIM, HE'S THE MOST WATCHED, LOVED, HATED, HYPED AND GREATEST IN THE NBA RIGHT NOW.... A LEGEND AMONGST MORTALS... AND WHEN OTHER NBA ARENAS CHANT M-V-P .... IT JUST SHOWS HE IS THAT DAMN EXCITING.

Well i've watched a lot of games this season and the consistent sellout games are attributed to Lebron and Kobe. Almost every time i watch the beginning of each game, the announcers say it's a sellout crowd and it's because it's one of those 2 guys. Boston, Atlanta, New York, Portland, Golden State, and Memphis each had a sellout crowd when the Laker's rolled into town, and i really don't think they came to see Smush Parker.
Same goes for Lebron. It's like every time i watch a cavalier's game half the home crowd (opposing the Cavs) are rooting for Lebron James every time he touches the ball. It's usually in the cities with bad teams though. The fans there don't really have much to cheer for since their home teams suck. So the biggest excitement for them is the thought of LBJ or kobe dropping huge numbers and maybe breaking records on their home team.
