this is a generic cage setup but will need to be modified depending on the lizard you decide to put into it. a tank preferably glass aquarium type. sized according to your lizard. substrate the stuff you put at the bottom of the cage for comfort. bathing area water bowl of some sorts. a heater preferably under tank heater. a basking area lamp. a mister bottle. uva uvb light source. this can be combined with your basking lamp. calcium and other supplements depending on the lizard. a source for food, petco, mail order crickets etc. a means of income that will guarantee your pet goes to the vet every 6 months for a wellness checkup. the ability to love and care for your pet responsibly. oh and a lizard.
my main suggestion is pick a lizard ask specifics about care for that lizard and you will get better responses. we can direct you to care sheets and let you know any modifications we have made personally that improve the life of our pets.

That would depend on what type of lizard you are getting. If it's a leopard gecko, mali uromastyx or a sand fish skink then you will need. An aquarium big enought to hold the lizard, a heat lamp, calcium sand (I've had in my tanks for 5 years and never had a problem), rocks to hide in, heat lamp, water dish, food dish if they eat meal worms, etc. Never and I mean never use a heat roch. They cause more damage than they do good.

well i am not sure what find of lizards you have but you will need a lg aquarium, heat rocks, sand, water bowls, UV heat lamp, live crickets, a container to keep the crickets in (because you can not put them all in the cage at one time) and lizard houses (because they like to hide in the dark)
