Yes, it can, if you prepare yourself very good.
You need a good camera, good eye sight, patience and luck.
Also don't forget the body guards they can attack.
If you have a good picture, you have to be quick because most of the time you won't be alone and only the first one will get the good price, if you have frequent success with pictures, you might get a straight contract by a paper /magazine, but beware you won't be allowed then to sale and work for other papers/magazines the same time.So in one way it's better the stay free lance. Also built up a good relationship with the other photographers (competition!).

Its not as easy as it sounds to get pictures of celebrities with
out them knowing U are watching. It purely a cat & mouse
game of waiting and stalking to catch them in the right place
at the wrong time. Good quaility pictures from a distance
requires top-notch exspensive equipment. Most do their own
delveloping of the pictures to ensure no know steals them
& destroys them after all that time spent obtaining them. Some paparazzi get the crap beat out of them some times
as well, celebrities do have the funds & connections to make
this happen. Things are not always as easy as they appear.
Yes, U can make some good money with the right shots.

The paparazzi aren't going to just let you move in and start taking away their business. If I were you, I would go to college, especially if you do want to buy a BMW someday. If making hundreds of thousands of dollars was as easy as taking out a camera, more people would be doing it.

Yeah its that easy but if you dont go to college you will have to work there 4ever or at urger King because you have no college brain. But you can become rich like. Like if you got Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's wedding KISS and when they said "I do" you would get like 20 thousand there.

Seriously, think about it. Don't throw you college years away trying to take photos of "celebrities". Like the previous poster said, there's way too much competition. Simply put, it's stupid.

Sure. You can get good money from that. That's no promise, though. It's safer to go to collage and get a good job. Plus you have to travel a lot. But you have to pay for that yourself.

There are a lot of people taking a lot of pictures....and very few pictures get a lot of money. You are better off investing your time in college....you will get a much bigger return for your money.

Good luck with that one! I kinda doubt it's a very good idea.

There is a ton of cut throat competition.
