I laughed out loud when I read this - I am, of course, in total agreement with you. Maybe the issue is that you DO need to be bright in order to understand. How much knowledge can be gained by attending a gay parade, a war protest, or in the welfare line?
I swear that most radical lib's think the probability of an alien landing on the planet is worth more investigation than the possibility of a religious war in this country.

It won't be committed by peace-loving Muslims.
It'll likely be committed by the small fraction of whatever group who happens to be fanatic terrorists. Maybe Muslim, maybe not. But it's the fact they're violent terrorists that's relevant.
And according to historical statistics, we suffer a foreign terrorist attack on US soil (or US military bases) roughly every 7-9 years. So, by that average, sometime 2008 to 2010.

Or maybe another Timothy McVeigh or a group supporting the IRA or maybe some animal rights activists or maybe even an Christian anti abortion fanatic blowing up a doctors surgery.So you see terrorists come in all shapes,sizes and nationality's not all people from one group would do these things its only the minority.Ignorance,Prejudice and Hate all go hand in hand

Buddhists do not fly planes into buildings. Hindus do not blow themselves up in crowded markets in order to make a political point. Catholics do not put people on trial for their lives for the crime of converting to a different religion.
Only the "religion of peace" does these things.
Attention moral relativists: Save your breath regarding events of centuries or even millenia ago. It is irrelevant to today's experience. Western kids and Muslim kids both learn about the Crusades in school. The difference is ours learn about them in World History, whereas the Muslims apparently study them in Current Events class.
