The mama needs to be by herself with the babies.
Hamsters don't like sharing territories. Even babies from a previous litter will bother her and cause her to kill them.
Use a plastic spoon and gather all the babies in a corner. Then cover the cage with a sheet or towel. Leave them alone. No peeking for at least 24 hours. The next day, at dusk (when hamsters are most active) lift the cover and see if there are any alive.
She may kill all of them. Some hamsters are not good mothers.
Some hamsters won't care for babies when the litters are too close together.
No more breeding for at least 2 months after these babies are weaned.
Then 1 litter every 3 months so she gets a rest.

Was the other female the new mothers daughter? the second female maybe trying to help. have the two older females been fighting? put rubber gloves on and put the babies back in the nest and cover up the nest. watch the two older hamsters together. If they are getting along then they are helping each other. why does she have them in the wheel? who knows. hamsters do odd things. Take the wheel from her for a few days. My hamster did that when she had babies too but mine are OK. anyway if you have any more questions email me.
hope i helped

Hamsters are generally solitary creatures. You should keep all adult separate or there will be a chance of a battle to the death.

Are the hamsters nested in the wheel? A simple solution to that would just flip the wheel on it's side or remove the wheel all together.

You are not being real specific on what your trying to say so it's hard to help you.

Always take the wheel out before the litter is born, in this case still remove the wheel, FAST. The wheel is a distraction to the mother and she won't care for the litter if you have toys and wheel inside.

take the wheel out and see what she does do not leave babies alone with her unless she starts caring for them-even she is feeding and otherwise caring for them then the culprit is the wheel-unti the babies are weaned I'd keep the mother and the baies(if she is feeding and otherwise caring for them separate from the other hamsters in another cage -can be temp.smaller cage and periodically so the female hamster gets exercise put the female in the original hamster cage with the wheeland if she continues to care for them oeriodically put one of her babies in the orig cage with wheel and OBSERVE what she doe if she acts ok put another then Observe and put another and so on. If the mother hamster stops caring (feeding etc)and attempts to hurt the babies then take out and immediately contact your VET on istructions on how to care and to get subs Mother's milk-Subs.Mother's Milk can also be bought PetSmart-I know for sure, probably other Petfood stores but Mother's Milk must be gotten ASAP for will not take long for babies to die with no food.If you have another hamster Mom that has recently given birth and the pups are below 8days take the mother out and sneak the pups in with her pups if they are healthy she will adopt if not healthy she'll mercifully dispose-the reason why Mothers kill pups-they sense something wrong with them that may not be noticeable to pet owner. If no adoptive Mom is available then either get Kitten Mothers Milk which can be used by hamsters-says on the box but you must feed EVERY HOUR-use a drop feeder and 3DROPS to each pup every hour-also shred paper and make a warm nest for nee warmth to survive. If can't find Kitten Mothers Milk can use babyformula or condensed Milk(can) mix1/2condensed milk to 1/2cuo warm water-do not mix a whole bunch but about 2 days worth-unused keep in fridge. Go to www.hamsterific.com tells all about hamster esp no Mom hamsters care. Good LUck

If you touched them, made her feel threatened, just generally desturbed the nest in anyway, she's going to kill them. There's nothing you can do. Next time just leaver her and the babies alone, though I suggest you make sure there isn't another next time. No one needs 12 hamsters. You're going to have a very hard time giving them away, and the shelters have enough of them.

DON'T DISTURB THE CAGE! That is why she is doing that. Hamsters will eat their young if they are disturbed. Just leave her alone for at least a week and see if she leaves them alone.

she most likely is rejecting them because of the smell....you will have to remove them or she will kill them and call a vet to see how to care for them,,,,,,,,,
