- it was not pink... it's white and it is associated with a racist group

Actually an upward facing triangle symbolizes fire in alchemy use. I don't know exactly what it would mean on a flag though.

It probably had something to do with masculineity (if that word exsists) I read that in the DaVinci Code by: Dan Brown if you want to know some more about it read the book.

elemental symbol of water...is my only guess. but it is usually not on a flag.
