I am now 26 weeks pregnant with my 1st child. i first felt flutter movements at about week 16/17. Its such a great feeling i play games and tickle my belly 2 communicate and have a connection with my gorwing baby. I also find that patting lightly on my tummy is a great way to get the baby familiar with this action when its born and you pat him or her into comfort.

With my first - 18 weeks, 3 days
With my second 15 weeks
With my third 17 weeks, 2 days
Guess if varies for each pregnancy, the first time around I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The second time was just an all around different pregnancy. And the last time, I think I was so busy with the homestead I might have missed it earlier on but realized what it was at 17 weeks.

This movement is called quickening, this usually happens between 16 and 20 weeks of pregnany. For first time moms it usually happens closer to the 20 weeks (mostly because they may not recognize the sensation as soon as a woman who has experienced pregnancy previously.

actually this week and i'm currently 14 weeks. it's the weirdest thing honestly and it took me by surprise. it sort of tickles at the same time, so i make a game of it by pressing on my tummy after i feel the flutter.
