Hi all, I'm really desperate.

I'm not fluent in math and i just found out that i need to take one math course in order to get my degree. I thought i had seen the last of math in high school but i wasn't so luck.

Can someone please tell me what the easiest math course would be. I know u guys dint know my level of math knowledge but i would like to say Ive been out of HS for over 10 years and that's how long i haven't seen math,

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

take college algebra. 'And remember, older students are harder working than when they were younger. I'm also "not fluent" in math, and I just took a college algebra course at my community college. I had to take it for a school requirement. I won't say it was easy, but I did most of the assigned homework and put in the time, and I did get an A. In fact, I think I got the top grade in the class, much to my surprise. (community college courses are easier than college courses)

I wouldn't advise statistics. That was terrible.

I don't think there are any other choices for a college student, are there?

It doesn't matter what math course your prefer. I would assume that the college will require that you take a placement test so they know what type of math you need to be taking. If you are getting your bachelor's degree, you'll need a higher level math class to graduate such as college algebra or calculus. In order to get there, you'll have to take a basic algebra course which is the easiest math course. So in other words, even if you need 1 math class to graduate, you'll need a couple of math classes to get there.

Shhh, take discrete math. It is a low level course that is good and typically covers lots of subjects. Don't take statistics or probability. Algebra would be good too.

Pre-Algebra?

Algebra's pretty easy too.

Or Geometry if you are into shapes.
