Why would something so irrelevant make you sick? Aren't there more important things to be distressed about? War? Cancer? Aids? Heather McCartney's dancing skills?
Rehab if anything is just a chance for so called celebrities to get a break from the press, if anything. They have a much right as anyone to go to rehab - Britney clearly looks like she needs some help. Being rich and famous if anything, makes the addictions they are being treated for even worse (Ie. everything on the plate).
Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly feel sorry for them but I don't see why they can't go to rehab in peace and quiet.

As far as I'm aware, they do have real problems. Britney is obviously depressed and is probably suffering post natal depression and Lindsey has an obvious drinking problem and an eating disorder. The thing is, there in an influx of celebrities going into rehab facilities which look like 5* hotels. On the outside, it looks like these celebrities have such great lives but we don't really know what's going on in their heads.

Yes it is a disgrace and because they all do it for publicity then when they really have a problem nobody will believe them. Jade Goody, Robbie, Docherty, Moss. Caprice went there the other day for one night then went off on a ski-ing holiday!!! Have you noticed they also only do it when they're career hits the skids, they can't cope with the money not flooding in. Kylie is the only one who probably genuinely deserves some rehab but she shows the lot of them up by her professionalism.

I think you are absolutely right. Rehab is no game for the rich to play. There are some terribly sick people out there that cannot get mental health help because they are too poor. While Britney checks into rehab and takes daytrips shopping.

I think some of them get publicity that they'd rather not have. Too much fame, too much money, too many drugs.
The only difference is they have the extra cash to go to these ritzy rehab centers.

It is amazing it that so many are addicted to "prescription" drugs, I recently hard surgery and my Dr. was very cautious about how much pain meds he sent me home with and had to see me to issue a refill...then he knew I really was still in pain...guess if you are rich you don't have to have an ailement or pain just money

If I were you, I wouldn't waste time being angry about the fate of people you don't personally know. What do you care what famous people do? Leave them alone and focus on your own life, which after all you are able to do something about.

it makes me sick that stuff is in the news in the first place. why should britney spears and her stupid bald head be on the front page of a newspaper when there are more important issues like AIDS and genocide in darfur... there are an infinite number of things more important than any of those stupid people, yet they still are viewed as more important. says something about america, doesnt it...
