I know two games:

-skeleton in the closet
one person steps out of the room, and you chose one person to be the skeleton, that person the goes and hides in a closet or under a table (somewhere where they cant be seen) then the person that stepped out then comes in and has three guesses to try and figure out who's the skeleton

-the other one is heads-up 7-up,
you chose a few people and everyone else puts there heads down, closes their eyes, and thumbs up, the few you chose in the beginning then go around and tap the thumbs lightly. Once everyone is back in the front of the room to tell them to look and they have ONE guess to figure out who tapped their thumb. If they get it right they echange places with that person in the front of the room.

or hide-n-seek is always good.

have fun =)

Most kids probably wouldn't like to draw or do puzzles, but it really depends on the child and their age. Suggest a few things and do what the child would prefer (unless it's dangerous or unappropriate, etc). Hand games can be fun for the girls; some little kids enjoy playing "family" or "pretend", where they act out scenarios, etc.

The website below has a list and the descriptions of games that you can play while babysitting, such as Marco Polo, Red Light/Green Light, and Duck Duck Goose.
